Useful answers before you book
Coverage, campaign terms and reporting explained clearly.
Why are guide and information page adverts UK-wide only?
General guides are not tied to a property, postcode or town, so there is no dependable local page location to match. These adverts are shown UK-wide and matched by subject, such as planning or licensing. You can still book them for 30, 90 or 365 days.
What is the difference between coverage and campaign length?
Coverage controls where an eligible advert can appear: within a postcode radius, across one UK region or UK-wide. Campaign length controls how long it runs: 30, 90 or 365 days. They are separate choices.
How does local advert targeting work?
Choose a 10, 20, 30 or 50-mile radius around a UK postcode, or select one UK region. On location-aware placements, the advert is eligible when the property, town or active search context falls inside that area.
How many advertisers can rotate in one position?
Capacity is controlled separately for each placement, area and campaign period. Advertisers whose coverage does not compete can use the same placement at the same time. The booking page prevents a new reservation when the relevant rotation is full.
Does my advert go live as soon as I book?
No. Payment must be confirmed and the artwork, destination page and campaign details must pass review. The purchased service term starts when the approved advert becomes available for publication, subject to the agreed start date.
Will my campaign renew automatically?
No. Every website campaign is a fixed 30, 90 or 365-day booking. Reminder emails are sent near 30 days and 7 days before expiry, and continuing requires a new booking.
Can I use an animated advert?
Website placements may use a restrained approved animation within the specification for that space. A static JPG, PNG or WebP poster is required for every booking. Newsletter sponsorship artwork must remain static.
What reporting will I receive?
The advertiser dashboard provides campaign dates, advert views, clicks and available geographic reporting. Newsletter sponsor reports use aggregate delivery and click figures; subscriber identities are never shared.
Is VAT added to the displayed price?
The booking total, agreement and invoice record the VAT position in force when you order. HMO For Sale is not currently VAT registered, so VAT is not presently added to advertising charges.
